Go "Green" with Green Revolution

Explore choices on going “green” with a traveling Smithsonian eco-zibit, made from recycled and repurposed materials. Green Revolution focuses on issues such as green building, energy choices, recycling, transportation, and more. The State Historical Society has enhanced this exhibit with North Dakota-related information and objects. Look for examples of how some individuals and organizations in North Dakota are approaching sustainability.

Unlike most traveling exhibitions, Green Revolution isn’t packed in a crate, and it doesn’t travel by truck, so it has a small carbon footprint. We received digital design files and instructions, allowing us to construct a home-grown "eco-zibit" from re-used and recycled materials.
