Summary: In this dark and damaged photograph, a sign stretches out across the roof of a section of a building in the complex of structures at the old Packing Plant abandoned by the Marquis de Mores when the business failed in 1886. Dating from between 1886 and 1905, the photograph captures a sad moment in the history of the building, and for the town of Medora (N.D.). The parts of the sign can be made out: "This building ---with living---cellar---rooms will be furnished--- RENT FREE to any responsible party who will start any--"
