Teen Takeover Contest Entry

We invite North Dakota teens to submit an original artistic creation interpreting the North Dakota-related theme of “What North Dakota Means to Me.” Entries are due by Dec. 1, 2024. Finalists’ work will be displayed in spring 2025 at the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum. A grand champion will be awarded $150. There is no entry fee. Contest Eligibility
I am between the ages of 13-18.
I am a North Dakota resident.
To be considered eligible for the contest, a participant must submit a digital file of their work by the Dec. 1, 2024, deadline. All submissions will go through an initial evaluation and judging. Finalists will be notified the first week of January 2025. Finalists may be required to fill out additional loan and submission paperwork and physically send their final work to the ND Heritage Center & State Museum. All finalists’ projects will be displayed in the State Museum throughout the spring. A panel of judges will review all finalists’ projects and select a grand champion. After this exhibit closes, original pieces will be available for return to the participant.
