Summary: Adeline Allard, age 90, of Bottineau, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2007 at a Bottineau nursing home. Mass of the Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, October 1, 2007 at the St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Bottineau. The celebrant at the mass was the Reverend Father Paul Schuster. Judy Allard was the community leader and Jan Wysocki was the pianist. Readers were Teri Seymour and Becky Miller. Kodi Smith and Kate Allard were the gift bearers. Casket bearers were Rob Habets, Steve Habets, Sam Allard, Kelly Allard, Korry Allard, Robin Barnes and Rori Thomas. Burial was at the Oak Creek Cemetery in Bottineau. Adeline Allard, a daughter of Noe and Alma Cote, was born on May 14, 1917 at Willow City. She was reared there and attended school at the Lincoln School District and later the Notre Dame Academy. Following her education, she worked as a caregiver in the Bottineau and Willow City area. On November 3, 1938, she married Alfred Allard at Willow City. Following their marriage, they made their home on a farm in Rolette County near Lords Lake. In 1967, they moved to Fargo where Adeline ran a boarding house. They moved to Bottineau in 1997 and Adeline entered the Bottineau Good Samaritan Center. Alfred passed away on June 14, 2002. Adeline was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Dunseith and the Cathedral of St. Mary in Fargo. She is survived by 3 daughters, Arlene (Wayne) Thomas of Fargo, Corliss (Glen) Habets of Kevin, MT, and Janice Friedrich of Lake Park, MN; 4 sons, Jerome (Donna) Allard of Zimmerman, MN, Alden (Brenda) Allard of Las Vegas, NV, Merle (Tammy) Allard of Bottineau and Michael Allard of Fargo; 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Evelyn Senechal, Lillian (William) Allard, Olivine (John) Allard and Alice Kuhn all of Bottineau; one brother, Leroy (Cecelia) Cote of Dunseith; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Adeline was preceded in death by 4 brothers and one sister.

Summary: The North Dakota Heritage Family Memorial Program is sponsored by the North Dakota Funeral Directors Association. The life stories of deceased North Dakotans are featured in an archvied collection. Current partners in the project are Eastgate Funeral & Cremation Services, Bismarck Evans Funeral Homes, Carrington and New Rockford Everson-Coughlin Funeral Home, Williston Fulkerson Funeral Home, Tioga Fulkerson Funeral Home, Watford City Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home, Williston Nero Funeral Home, Bottineau Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck Springan Stevenson Funeral Home, Stanley Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson These funeral homes provide recent obituaries to the Foundation, where staff and volunteers format, edit and archive each memorial. The memorials are posted, and copies are sent to the family for their input and approval. The listing currently features more than 13,000 memorials, and is constantly updated as new memorials and histories are received.
