Summary: Cody Anderson, 28, of Tioga, most recently of Fargo, died early Wednesday morning, November 14, 2007, due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Funeral Services were held Saturday, November 17, 2007, at the Beaver Creek Lutheran Church, South of Tioga, with the Rev. Roger Olson and Intern Pastor Eric Rasmussen officiating. Burial was in the Beaver Creek Cemetery. Cody Tyler Anderson was born March 4, 1979 to Peter and Harla (Johnson) Anderson at Tioga, North Dakota. He was raised on the family farm and attended Harney School, and graduated from Tioga High School in 1997. He was baptized and confirmed at Beaver Creek Lutheran Church. After high school Cody worked in various oilfield jobs until moving to Fargo at which time he began working with his brother, Ryan, at Space Age Manufacturing. Cody met Danielle Cossette while living in Fargo; the couple was married on March 21, 2002 and continued to live in Fargo. On March 30, 2006, they welcomed their twins, Peter David and Cossette Rhianne and are currently expecting another daughter, Eloise Cody on February 1, 2008. In the summer of 2007, Cody returned to the Tioga area to pursue a career in the oilfield. The couple had planned to establish their home in rural Tioga. Cody was currently employed with Tooke Rockies, Inc. of Dickinson, North Dakota as a geologic consultant. Cody had a love for music, and had a natural ability to play most any stringed instrument. He enjoyed bowling and shooting pool. He loved spending time with his children and hanging out with friends. He was an avid scrabble and chess player who was impossible to beat. He is survived by his wife, Danielle, of Fargo, ND; children, Peter David and Cossette Rhianne, and Eloise Cody, due in February; parents, Peter and Harla Anderson of rural Tioga, ND; paternal grandparents, Don and Barb Anderson of rural Tioga, ND; maternal grandparents, Lois & Harlan Johnson of Tioga, ND; brother, Ryan Anderson of Tioga, ND; sister, Melissa (Pete) Peterson, and their daughter Petra of Tioga, ND; sister-in-law, Sheila (Max) Sheppard of Hawley, MN, sister-in-law Kristina Butcher of Moorhead, MN; nieces, Ashley Manley and Sara Sheppard, both of Fargo, ND; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. His great-grandparents preceded him in death.

Summary: The North Dakota Heritage Family Memorial Program is sponsored by the North Dakota Funeral Directors Association. The life stories of deceased North Dakotans are featured in an archvied collection. Current partners in the project are Eastgate Funeral & Cremation Services, Bismarck Evans Funeral Homes, Carrington and New Rockford Everson-Coughlin Funeral Home, Williston Fulkerson Funeral Home, Tioga Fulkerson Funeral Home, Watford City Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home, Williston Nero Funeral Home, Bottineau Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck Springan Stevenson Funeral Home, Stanley Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson These funeral homes provide recent obituaries to the Foundation, where staff and volunteers format, edit and archive each memorial. The memorials are posted, and copies are sent to the family for their input and approval. The listing currently features more than 13,000 memorials, and is constantly updated as new memorials and histories are received.
