Summary: Georgia Ann (Krieger) Anderson, 68, of Williston, ND died July 8, 2009 at her mother’s home surrounded by her family. A celebration of life memorial service was held July 14, 2009 in the Fulkerson Funeral Home Chapel in Williston. Pastor Steve Anderson officiated. Georgia was born May 18, 1941 in Lansing, MI to Dr. George and Maxine (Roberts) Krieger. They moved to Williston in 1945 where she attended school, graduating in 1959. In 1968 she graduated from the New York Cosmetology Academy in Denver, CO. Georgia moved to Canada in 1971 where she managed a hotel and restaurant. She returned to Williston in 2003 where she managed DK’s on the Edge and was currently employed at the Marquis Plaza and Suites. Georgia enjoyed gardening, decorating and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her mother Maxine Krieger; a son Ron (Marti) Pankowski; a daughter Ranell Pankowski; grandchildren David, Mandi and Eric Pankowski, Shawn Garrett, Conor, Hannah and Miranda Volz; great-grandchildren Eliza and Josh Herrick; a brother Jim (Jo) Krieger, a sister Jackie (Dennis) Grubb, all of Williston, ND, as well as several nieces and nephews, her special friend Rick Daniels and her beloved dog Odie. She was preceded in death by her father, George Krieger, a sister Kathleen, a brother Tom and her grandparents.

Summary: The North Dakota Heritage Family Memorial Program is sponsored by the North Dakota Funeral Directors Association. The life stories of deceased North Dakotans are featured in an archvied collection. Current partners in the project are Eastgate Funeral & Cremation Services, Bismarck Evans Funeral Homes, Carrington and New Rockford Everson-Coughlin Funeral Home, Williston Fulkerson Funeral Home, Tioga Fulkerson Funeral Home, Watford City Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home, Williston Nero Funeral Home, Bottineau Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck Springan Stevenson Funeral Home, Stanley Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson These funeral homes provide recent obituaries to the Foundation, where staff and volunteers format, edit and archive each memorial. The memorials are posted, and copies are sent to the family for their input and approval. The listing currently features more than 13,000 memorials, and is constantly updated as new memorials and histories are received.
