Summary: Sue Will Arman, age 78 of Burnsville, MN died at home on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 after a year long illness. According to Sue’s wishes, a graveside service was held in her hometown of Bismarck, ND. Elvira Susanna “Sue” Will was born on June 13, 1931 in Bismarck, ND to George F. Will, Sr. and Elvira “Vera” (Kangas) Will. She graduated from Bismarck High School in 1949 and went on to attend Wellesley College and Macalaster College. In 1952 she married Miles O. Arman. The family settled in South River Hills in Burnsville, MN in 1965. Sue was employed at I.S.D. 191, first at Cedar School and then at Burnsville High School and eventually retired from Northwest Airlines Workers’ Compensation Dept. in 1999. Sue is survived by children Jody Arman-Jones (Evers Jones) of Farmington, MN, Lisa Arman (Dennis Edwards) of St. Pete Beach, FL, Peggy Arman of Minneapolis, MN, and Lee Arman (Shelly) of Lino Lakes, MN; grandchildren Luke Jones of Cottage Grove, MN, Erin Jones of Washington, DC, Samantha, Jack and Bailey Arman of Lino Lakes; brother Oscar (Jane) Will of Durham, NH; cousin Rufus Lumry, II of Minneapolis; as well as several other cousins and inlaws. She will be missed by her steadfast OMPS friends, as matriarch of the Will clan, and by several nieces, nephews, and “greats.” She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Margaret Will Exton; brother George Will, Jr.; sisterin-law Lynn Will; former husband Miles Arman; and nephew Steve Will.

Summary: The North Dakota Heritage Family Memorial Program is sponsored by the North Dakota Funeral Directors Association. The life stories of deceased North Dakotans are featured in an archvied collection. Current partners in the project are Eastgate Funeral & Cremation Services, Bismarck Evans Funeral Homes, Carrington and New Rockford Everson-Coughlin Funeral Home, Williston Fulkerson Funeral Home, Tioga Fulkerson Funeral Home, Watford City Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home, Williston Nero Funeral Home, Bottineau Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck Springan Stevenson Funeral Home, Stanley Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson These funeral homes provide recent obituaries to the Foundation, where staff and volunteers format, edit and archive each memorial. The memorials are posted, and copies are sent to the family for their input and approval. The listing currently features more than 13,000 memorials, and is constantly updated as new memorials and histories are received.
