Summary: Rick Auck, 53, Bismarck, went home to our Heavenly Father November 29, 2006. Services were held Saturday, December 2 at First United Methodist Church, 924 N 11th St, Bismarck, with Rev. Kermit Culver officiating. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck. Richard Orien Auck was born June 17, 1953 in Bismarck the son of Irma (Auck) Hoff and the late Orien Auck. He attended school in Driscoll, ND, and received his degree in welding from Wahpeton, ND. Rick married Cindy Seidel on April 5, 1974, where they resided in Bismarck. The greatest blessings in Rick and Cindy’s life are their three sons, Tyler, Christian and Mason. Rick was a lifetime member of ABATE of ND, a member of the Elks, was active in the Driscoll Wildlife Club, a member of USW Local 566. He was employed with I.R. Bobcat for the last 32 years. Rick was the happiest spending time with his family and his two grand-dogs, Keetah and Isha. His passion has been riding Harley Davidsons for the last 30 years, and spending time with all of his friends. Rick is survived by his wife, Cindy; their sons, Tyler (Marisa), Christian (Tonya Cook) and Mason; his mother, Irma Auck Hoff and her husband, George Hoff of Helena, MT; his three brothers, Warren, Doug (Jan) and Troy (Kelli); his four sisters, Dorothy (Donny) Mosbrucker, Penny (Alan) Friesen, Oreen (Bob) Runge and Sheila (Danny) Coleman. Rick was preceded in death by his father, Orien and both sets of grandparents.

Summary: The North Dakota Heritage Family Memorial Program is sponsored by the North Dakota Funeral Directors Association. The life stories of deceased North Dakotans are featured in an archvied collection. Current partners in the project are Eastgate Funeral & Cremation Services, Bismarck Evans Funeral Homes, Carrington and New Rockford Everson-Coughlin Funeral Home, Williston Fulkerson Funeral Home, Tioga Fulkerson Funeral Home, Watford City Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home, Williston Nero Funeral Home, Bottineau Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck Springan Stevenson Funeral Home, Stanley Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson These funeral homes provide recent obituaries to the Foundation, where staff and volunteers format, edit and archive each memorial. The memorials are posted, and copies are sent to the family for their input and approval. The listing currently features more than 13,000 memorials, and is constantly updated as new memorials and histories are received.
