Summary: Arlys Mae Bahley, 56, passed to her heavenly home on April 20, 2005 after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Services were held at 10 AM CT Monday April 25th at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, Bismarck, with the Rev. Thomas Kramer officiating. Burial at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be held from 1:30 - 2:30 PM CT Sunday at St. Vincent's Care Center and from 3-9 PM CT Sunday at Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck where a rosary will be held at 7 PM CT. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Arlys was born on November 29, 1948, in Dickinson, ND. She was raised on a farm southwest of South Heart and attended farm school for the first five grades. She completed grade school and graduated from South Heart High School in 1966. She attended Capitol Commercial College in Bismarck, ND and graduated in May, 1967. She started work at Hindemith Tin Shop in July, 1967 as a secretary/bookkeeper. Walter Hindemith retired and closed the business inJune, 1983. She worked for Bismarck Heating and Air Conditioning as secretary, bookkeeper and dispatcher from June, 1983 to October, 1989. She had been a resident of St. Vincent's Care Center since February, 1997. Family was very important to Arlys and she loved tolavish gifts on family members, especially her niece and nephews. She enjoyed photography, reading the Bismarck Tribune, and writing in her diary. Arlys is survived by her mother, Bertha Bahley, Dickinson, ND; her three sisters and brother, Judy (Robert) Luebke, Bismarck, ND, Bobbie (Ken) Volesky, Dickinson, ND, Carol (Danny) Luebke, Barney, ND, and Randy Bahley, South Heart, ND; and her niece and nephews, Chris Luebke, Madison, WI, Jon Luebke, Bismarck, ND, Lindsay (Patrick) Berger, Minneapolis, MN, Lane Volesky, Fargo, ND, Adam Luebke, Grand Forks, ND, and Austin Luebke, Barney, ND. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Bahley; and both paternal and maternal grandparents.

Summary: The North Dakota Heritage Family Memorial Program is sponsored by the North Dakota Funeral Directors Association. The life stories of deceased North Dakotans are featured in an archvied collection. Current partners in the project are Eastgate Funeral & Cremation Services, Bismarck Evans Funeral Homes, Carrington and New Rockford Everson-Coughlin Funeral Home, Williston Fulkerson Funeral Home, Tioga Fulkerson Funeral Home, Watford City Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home, Williston Nero Funeral Home, Bottineau Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck Springan Stevenson Funeral Home, Stanley Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson These funeral homes provide recent obituaries to the Foundation, where staff and volunteers format, edit and archive each memorial. The memorials are posted, and copies are sent to the family for their input and approval. The listing currently features more than 13,000 memorials, and is constantly updated as new memorials and histories are received.
