Ione was born April 1, 1934, the eldest of five in Badger, MN to Richard and Myrtle (Iverson) Wagner. She made a gazillion quilts for family, friends, and Lutheran World Relief, and was recognized with numerous purple ribbons. Ione enjoyed bridge and games of every kind, entertaining, music, remodeling and gardening. She was known for her amazing pies, and yummy caramel rolls and was an avid recipe collector.
