Summary: Jeffery B. Shriver, 51, Bottineau, ND, passed away October 6, 2017, in a tragic automobile accident. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated October 12, 2017, at St. Marks Catholic Church, Bottineau. The celebrant at the Mass was the Reverend Father Michael Hickin. Cheryl Guss was the organist. Lois Raymo was the reader and Andy and Diane Leon were the giftbearers. Jennifer Nero, Janel Agnes, and Warren Emmer were the Eucharistic Ministers. Jeffrey was born April 1, 1966, to Vern Shriver and Donna Mclain in Lexington, NE. He attended school in Lexington and graduated in 1984. In 1985 he married Daneen Smith and they had two daughters, Crystal and Heather. This marriage later ended. In 1995 he met Echoe Brown. They were married in April 1997 and had four children together, Jayhawk, Rhegan, Jacob, and Joshua. Jeff served in the USMC from 1990 to 1994 during Desert Storm. Jeff loved his family, flag, and country beyond measure. His greatest passion was fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Jeff was a dedicated employee and community member. He worked for Wal-Mart for 10 years helping to set up new Wal-Marts with their management teams. During his time working for Wal-Mart Jeff and his family lived in five different states, finally deciding to make Bottineau their final home. He became the manager of Jason’s Super Foods in Bottineau in 2017. In each community Jeff became very active by volunteering for different organizations and donating whatever was needed. Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Echoe, Bottineau; daughters, Heather Peil, North Platte, NE, and Rhegan Shriver, Bottineau; sons, Jayhawk, Jacob, and Joshua, all of Bottineau; father, Vernon Shriver, Wiggins, CO; mother, Donna Mclain, Lexington, NE; sister, Laura Shriver, Lexington, NE; and several extended family members, and friends. Jeff was preceded in death by his grandparents; and his daughter, Crystal.

Summary: The North Dakota Heritage Family Memorial Program is sponsored by the North Dakota Funeral Directors Association. The life stories of deceased North Dakotans are featured in an archvied collection. Current partners in the project are Eastgate Funeral & Cremation Services, Bismarck Evans Funeral Homes, Carrington and New Rockford Everson-Coughlin Funeral Home, Williston Fulkerson Funeral Home, Tioga Fulkerson Funeral Home, Watford City Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home, Williston Nero Funeral Home, Bottineau Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck Springan Stevenson Funeral Home, Stanley Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson These funeral homes provide recent obituaries to the Foundation, where staff and volunteers format, edit and archive each memorial. The memorials are posted, and copies are sent to the family for their input and approval. The listing currently features more than 13,000 memorials, and is constantly updated as new memorials and histories are received.
