Summary: June Haupt, 91, formerly of Cut Bank, MT, left to meet her heavenly family March 12, 2022, at Miller Pointe, Mandan, ND. A memorial service was held March 23, 2022, at Eastgate Funeral Service, Bismarck, ND. She returned to Cut Bank in the summer to be buried with Bud. June Muncy was born September 4, 1930, in Havre, MT, to Freda and Lloyd Muncy. She was raised by her mother as her father was killed in an automobile accident when she was young. June graduated from Chester High School in 1949. She married the love of her life on November 5, 1950, Melvin Kenneth Haupt, better known as Bud. This was a union that would last for 37 years. June enjoyed working with Bud, counted cross stitch, playing cards, and the many adventures with family and friends at Lake Five in the mountains of Montana. June left Montana and moved to North Dakota to be closer to her daughter. She is survived by her son, Mike Haupt; daughter, Bonnie Tomac; Nick Tomac, Ted Poppke; and many nieces and nephews. June was preceded in death by her mother, Freda Muncy; her husband, Bud Haupt; her uncle, George Braun; her brothers, Elmer and Dale Muncy; and her sister, Lorraine (Muncy) Polacek.

Summary: The North Dakota Heritage Family Memorial Program is sponsored by the North Dakota Funeral Directors Association. The life stories of deceased North Dakotans are featured in an archvied collection. Current partners in the project are Eastgate Funeral & Cremation Services, Bismarck Evans Funeral Homes, Carrington and New Rockford Everson-Coughlin Funeral Home, Williston Fulkerson Funeral Home, Tioga Fulkerson Funeral Home, Watford City Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home, Williston Nero Funeral Home, Bottineau Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck Springan Stevenson Funeral Home, Stanley Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson These funeral homes provide recent obituaries to the Foundation, where staff and volunteers format, edit and archive each memorial. The memorials are posted, and copies are sent to the family for their input and approval. The listing currently features more than 13,000 memorials, and is constantly updated as new memorials and histories are received.
