Summary: Special Agent Frank Clarence Schultz Date of Death: June 10, 1970 Grand Forks, North Dakota Burlington Northern Railroad Police Age at Death: 51 Frank Schultz, an employee of Burlington Northern Railroad for 19 years, was checking the metal seal on railroad box cars, between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. and was struck by a railroad car. Schultz's body was found at approximately 5:00 a.m. by a switchman. The coroner ruled the death accidental. Schultz had served as a police officer with the Grand Forks Police Department for 7 years prior to joining the B. N. Railroad. His total service to law enforcement had been 24 years. Frank Schultz was survived by his wife and five daughters.
