Summary: Officer Theodore Wanner Date of Death: July 14, 1966 Dickinson Police Department, Dickinson, ND Age at Death: 29 While on the afternoon shift in Dickinson, North Dakota, on July 14, 1966, Officer Wanner became involved in a high-speed chase. The person Officer Wanner was chasing crossed a railroad track as a train engine got to the crossing. Officer Wanner was unable to stop in time and slid into the train engine and was killed instantly. Officer Theodore Wanner was married and the father of one child.
