Summary: Deputy Timothy Wells Date of Death: February 1989 Williams County Sheriff's Dept., Williston, ND Age at Death: Unknown Deputy Sheriff Timothy Wells was a member of the Williams County Dive Rescue Team. As part of the required training, Wells participated in an under-ice dive. While participating in this training, Deputy Wells became lost beneath the ice. He drowned after his air supply was exhausted. Deputy Sheriff Timothy Wells was a veteran of four years of law enforcement service, was married and the father of two children.
