Summary: Norman Kidd was born in Dixon, Illinois. After graduating high school, he served in the National Guard before moving to Jamestown. He became known as “Ole Olson” on KSJB radio, calling thousands of Class B basketball games and other sporting events, and hosting many broadcasts. Before he passed away his days were spent with family and friends spending time visiting and catching up. Norman made an enormous impact in Jamestown, and in the lives of many.
