Summary: On August 31 of 2017, Dwayne Walker retired from KFYR-TV after 44 years. Dwayne worked in the television business for 50 years. He states that he is known as the “eyes and ears of the state of North Dakota and the citizens of Bismarck.” Most of what was seen on the screen from KFYR-TV came from Dwayne’s lens. "I'll still be available to shoot video for the news department and to fly their drone. I'm a licensed pilot for the drone, so they'll be calling me when they need some drone footage," said Dwayne. KFYR-TV stated that Dwayne will still be helping around the station. Now that he is retired, he spends his time traveling and hunting. "It's been a pleasure of mine to serve the public of the state of North Dakota, keep them informed and to let them see firsthand what's happening in our state. I've hoped they've enjoyed my work over the past fifty years," said Dwayne.
