Title: Duaine Sanden

Summary: Duaine Sanden started his radio career in 1959. He was doing play-by-play of high school sports by 1965. He was an early radio voice for UND sports and was elected to the North Dakota AP Sportscaster Hall of Fame in 2018. Not only was he an amazing radio voice, but he also had a side career of his own. He was the owner/operator of the 1928 Maple Lake Pavilion. Duaine also served as one of the members on the Grand Forks Fair Board of Directors. He is the 2019 recipient of the Pioneers in Broadcasting Award from the North Dakota Broadcasters Association.
