Summary: Erin C. Warmsbecker, Williston, ND, passed away at her home August 23, 2023. Erin’s memorial service was held August 31, 2023, at the Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home Chapel in Williston. Erin Cody “Nex” Warmsbecker was born to Brandy (Shahin) and Leo Warmsbecker on October 19, 2008, in Williston. Erin was an artist, a writer, and thoroughly enjoyed drama. Her biggest passion was animals. Whether visiting the dogs and cats at Mondak Animal Rescue or chasing and catching any animal she saw at Spring Lake Park, Eagle Ridge, or along side of the road, she loved them all. Her artistic talents ranged from drawing, sketching, and painting to digital art. She was just beginning to learn about photography. She was passionate about writing, having written several short stories and was working on a novel. When writing, she made sure she developed every character in complete detail and illustrated many of them. Erin was kind, compassionate, thoughtful, and funny. She had an infectious laugh and a dark sense of humor. She took joy in making others smile and laugh. She is survived by her mother, Brandy Shahin, and her father, Leo Warmsbecker. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Earline Martin and MariAnn Sansour.

Summary: The North Dakota Heritage Family Memorial Program is sponsored by the North Dakota Funeral Directors Association. The life stories of deceased North Dakotans are featured in an archvied collection. Current partners in the project are Eastgate Funeral & Cremation Services, Bismarck Evans Funeral Homes, Carrington and New Rockford Everson-Coughlin Funeral Home, Williston Fulkerson Funeral Home, Tioga Fulkerson Funeral Home, Watford City Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home, Williston Nero Funeral Home, Bottineau Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck Springan Stevenson Funeral Home, Stanley Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson These funeral homes provide recent obituaries to the Foundation, where staff and volunteers format, edit and archive each memorial. The memorials are posted, and copies are sent to the family for their input and approval. The listing currently features more than 13,000 memorials, and is constantly updated as new memorials and histories are received.
