Summary: Doris Ann (Partlow) Wolsky passed away March 7, 2023, at St. Alexius Hospital in Bismarck, ND. Her funeral service was held March 14, 2023, at Grace Lutheran Church, Carrington, ND. Burial was at the Carrington Cemetery. Doris Ann Gedrose was born February 27, 1937, in Fairville Township in Wells County, ND, to Tannes and Hanna (Gudmestad) Gedrose. Doris attended the Fairville #4 rural school house. She lived on the family farm northeast of Cathay, ND. Doris attended school until the 8th grade. She worked on the family farm. She later started working at the Carrington Hospital as a CNA and loved this job, because she loved taking care of people. She met Wayne “Tuff” Partlow and they married on January 9, 1959, in Carrington. They had two children, Tim and Sheryl. Doris later worked at Seaburg Drug and Central Pharmacy for years and loved that job. She loved helping people pick out that perfect gift and also enjoyed going on the buying trips for the store. She enjoyed playing cards, having coffee with friends, and playing board games with her grandchildren. But what she enjoyed the most was her family. Getting together with brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and all extended family was the BEST for Doris. She really enjoyed a good prank every chance she got. Tuff passed away in 1982. On September 27, 1986, Doris married Jerry Wolsky. They made their home at Arrowwood National Wildlife Refuge. After Jerry retired, they moved to Carrington, ND. Jerry passed away in 2021. Doris is survived by her children, Tim (Lori) Partlow and Sheryl (Troy) Roundy; five grandchildren, Phillip Partlow, Samuel (Brianne) Partlow, William (Chelsea) Partlow, Cameron (Ellen) Roundy, and Brittney (Thomas) Moravec; seven great-grandchildren, Rylee and August Partlow, Sutton and Stella Roundy, Kimber and Drake Moravec, and Freya Partlow; special niece, Cindy Wood, who Doris helped raise; sister, Elsie Robertsen; sisters-in-law, Lillian Gedrose, Marilyn Gedrose, Karen Partlow, and Karen Wolsky; special friend, Barb Backer; many nieces and nephews, who meant the world to her; and Jerry’s children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Wayne “Tuff” Partlow and Jerry Wolsky; parents, Tannes and Hanna Gedrose, Lester and Lola Partlow; sisters, Camilla, Tumina (Sverre) Melhus, and Helen (Jack) Lilliheim; brothers, Elmer, Oscar, Clifford and Rueben (Delores); brothers-in-law, Anker Robertsen, Eldon Partlow, Gary Partlow, and Howard (Eileen) Partlow; and Jerry’s brothers and son, Ron (Arlene) Wolsky, Leland Wolsky, and Jay Wolsky.

Summary: The North Dakota Heritage Family Memorial Program is sponsored by the North Dakota Funeral Directors Association. The life stories of deceased North Dakotans are featured in an archvied collection. Current partners in the project are Eastgate Funeral & Cremation Services, Bismarck Evans Funeral Homes, Carrington and New Rockford Everson-Coughlin Funeral Home, Williston Fulkerson Funeral Home, Tioga Fulkerson Funeral Home, Watford City Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home, Williston Nero Funeral Home, Bottineau Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck Springan Stevenson Funeral Home, Stanley Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson These funeral homes provide recent obituaries to the Foundation, where staff and volunteers format, edit and archive each memorial. The memorials are posted, and copies are sent to the family for their input and approval. The listing currently features more than 13,000 memorials, and is constantly updated as new memorials and histories are received.
