Summary: Michele Cuskelly, 67, of Dickinson, ND, passed away October 21, 2024, at St. Luke's Home in Dickinson. A memorial service was held October 28, 2024, at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson. Inurnment was at Oakdale Cemetery in Dunn County. Michele Mildred Cuskelly was born on November 10, 1956, to Michael and Mildred (Granfor) Cuskelly at St. Joseph's Hospital in Dickinson. She graduated from Killdeer High School in 1974. Michele lived in different group and assisted living homes in North Dakota. Eleven years ago, she moved to St. Luke's Home in Dickinson, where she has made her home since. The staff at St. Luke's was a second family to Michele and always made her feel loved. She was always full of compliments to the staff, and they will always remember her laugh. Michele enjoyed watching TV, especially the Lawrence Welk show, old country music, and bingo. Michele's family would like to thank the St. Luke's Home staff for all the wonderful loving care she received throughout her years there. Michele is survived by her siblings, Darrel (Diane) Cuskelly, of Dickinson, Joan (Richard) Hushka, of Newton, KS, Edward (Diane) Cuskelly, of Killdeer, ND, and Robert (Jodi) Cuskelly, of Manning, ND, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Mildred; and maternal and paternal grandparents.

Summary: The North Dakota Heritage Family Memorial Program is sponsored by the North Dakota Funeral Directors Association. The life stories of deceased North Dakotans are featured in an archvied collection. Current partners in the project are Eastgate Funeral & Cremation Services, Bismarck Evans Funeral Homes, Carrington and New Rockford Everson-Coughlin Funeral Home, Williston Fulkerson Funeral Home, Tioga Fulkerson Funeral Home, Watford City Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home, Williston Nero Funeral Home, Bottineau Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck Springan Stevenson Funeral Home, Stanley Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson These funeral homes provide recent obituaries to the Foundation, where staff and volunteers format, edit and archive each memorial. The memorials are posted, and copies are sent to the family for their input and approval. The listing currently features more than 13,000 memorials, and is constantly updated as new memorials and histories are received.
