Summary: Audrey Jordan, 89, of Dickinson, ND, passed away November 23, 2024, at home, surrounded by her family. A funeral mass was held November 27, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Dickinson with Father Justin Waltz celebrating. Burial was at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Audrey Jordan was born on July 16, 1935, in Lutterworth, England, to Richard J. and Constance M. (Hopkins) Truman. Growing up she attended grammar school in England. On a blind date, Audrey met the love of her life, Joseph “Joe” Jordan of Lefor, ND. They married on August 4, 1962, and their love continued to grow for 58 years. To this union, they were blessed with a son, Richard Joseph, and a daughter, Valerie Anne. During their life together, they lived in many different places due to Joe’s service in the Air Force, such as Arizona, Germany, Colorado, and North Dakota. Their love was the epitome of the life they lived. From starting Birth Right in Colorado, assisting couples in the FOCUS program, and even attending Search as a “Ma” and “Pa.” Audrey and Joe shared a faith that encompassed all of the things they loved to do, going to Mass together, spending time with family and dear friends, and even playing bingo and pool together. Audrey’s greatest joy in life was being able to make the people around her happy and full of joy. Audrey is survived by her son, Richard (Teresa) Jordan, of Germantown, TN; daughter, Valerie Arriola, of Dickinson, ND; grandchildren, Danielle Arriola and Anthony Arriola; sister, Dorothy Grant, of Rugby, England; and brother, David Truman, of Lutterworth, England. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Jordan; parents, Richard and Constance Truman; sisters, Jean and Ann; and brother, Pete Truman.
