Summary: Vickie Lee, 66, of Tioga, ND, passed away on October 6, 2024, at the Missouri Slope Nursing Home in Bismarck, ND, with her family by her side. Cremation has taken place. At Vickie's request, a private memorial service will take place at a later date. Vickie was born April 3, 1958, to Robert and Helen Montgomery in Stanley, ND. She graduated from Tioga High School with the class of 1976. Vickie married Myron Lee on May 14, 1977. Together they raised their two sons in Tioga, ND. Vickie worked various jobs throughout her life. She enjoyed working at the Hess Gas Plant and retired in 2013. Vickie loved working on crafts from Hardanger, cross stitching to scrabble tile wall hanging. She taught various craft class for several years. Her favorite crafts were the ones she made with her three grandchildren which she displayed with pride. She also enjoyed spending time outside planting and taking care of her beautiful flowers every year. The last couple of years she spent putting together the family histories of the Montgomery, O’Connell, Lee and Bokn families which brought her so much enjoyment. Vickie was always proud of her sons and grandchildren. She very much enjoyed the quality time she got to spend with them and the rest of the family. Vickie is survived by her husband of 47 years, Myron; sons, Shayne (Ashley) Lee, of Bismarck, ND, Austin Lee, of Dickinson, ND; grandchildren, Keaten, Breynn, Ryland Lee, of Bismarck, ND; sisters, Shelly (Paul) Hartsoch, Terrie Bingeman; brother, Dale (Morgan) Montgomery; numerous nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Judy Hegstad and Loraline Cummins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Helen Montgomery; sister, Beverly Montgomery; brother, Robert Montgomery; in-laws, Ernest and Thora Lee; brothers-in-law, David Lee, Rick Cummins, Gayle Bingeman, Gene Hegstad.

Summary: The North Dakota Heritage Family Memorial Program is sponsored by the North Dakota Funeral Directors Association. The life stories of deceased North Dakotans are featured in an archvied collection. Current partners in the project are Eastgate Funeral & Cremation Services, Bismarck Evans Funeral Homes, Carrington and New Rockford Everson-Coughlin Funeral Home, Williston Fulkerson Funeral Home, Tioga Fulkerson Funeral Home, Watford City Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home, Williston Nero Funeral Home, Bottineau Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck Springan Stevenson Funeral Home, Stanley Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson These funeral homes provide recent obituaries to the Foundation, where staff and volunteers format, edit and archive each memorial. The memorials are posted, and copies are sent to the family for their input and approval. The listing currently features more than 13,000 memorials, and is constantly updated as new memorials and histories are received.
