Summary: Brandy Lee Gurule passed away on January 14, 2025, at CHI St. Alexius Health in Dickinson. A memorial service and burial will take place at a later date in Missoula, MT. Brandy Lee was born on November 16, 1982, to Howard (Hiner) Jr. and Yvette Sabie. Brandy was known for her incredible work ethic, which showed while working at Burly’s Rough Rider Bar & Grill and, most recently, Dollar General. Brandy cherished spending time with her family, especially her kids, whom she loved unconditionally. In her free time, she enjoyed camping, taking care of her kids, decorating her home, and sewing. She had an extremely bubbly personality and was always known for her ability to forgive. Brandy is survived by her fiance, David Sirucek of Belfield, ND; mother, Yvette Charvat, of Belfield; children, Tristan, Brandon, Layla, and Olivia; stepchildren, Savian, Saxton, Stason and Shayn; brothers, Bryce Weldon, of Belfied, Benjamin Weldon, of Missouri; sisters, Tessa Hiner and Rhonda Hiner; stepfather, Rick Weldon; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Brandy was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Howard Sr. and Brenda Hiner, and her maternal grandparents.

Summary: The North Dakota Heritage Family Memorial Program is sponsored by the North Dakota Funeral Directors Association. The life stories of deceased North Dakotans are featured in an archvied collection. Current partners in the project are Eastgate Funeral & Cremation Services, Bismarck Evans Funeral Homes, Carrington and New Rockford Everson-Coughlin Funeral Home, Williston Fulkerson Funeral Home, Tioga Fulkerson Funeral Home, Watford City Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home, Williston Nero Funeral Home, Bottineau Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck Springan Stevenson Funeral Home, Stanley Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson These funeral homes provide recent obituaries to the Foundation, where staff and volunteers format, edit and archive each memorial. The memorials are posted, and copies are sent to the family for their input and approval. The listing currently features more than 13,000 memorials, and is constantly updated as new memorials and histories are received.
