Surviving Tristen are his parents, Stacy and Ryan; his sister, Peyten; his brother, Carter; grandparents, Gaylen and Candy Huwe, and Mona and Kevin Craft; and great-grandfather, Douglas James Elsberry all of Williston; aunts and uncles, Lisa and Dan Sandaker of Fargo, ND and Chad and Melissa Slapnicka and their children Matsen and Holden of Bismarck, ND; his very special friend, Rhiannon Jones and numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceding Tristen in death were his great-grandparents, Constance Mortenson (grandma with the fish); Lowell and Harriet Huwe (grandparents with the green van); Ethel Elsberry (his special babysitter); grandfather Curtis Slapnicka and his faithful dog Shilo.
