Summary: Lynette Holly Schield was born on August 9, 1960, in Bismarck, ND, and was a life-long area resident.  Lynette attended the School of Hope and later, Bismarck Public Schools special needs classes.  She was employed locally through Pride Industries. Lynette will be remembered for her warm, loving nature, her sweet smile and sense of humor, and the gentle hugs she gave so freely.  Her personality had a softening effect on all who were privileged to know her. Lynette, at age 55, Bismarck, died Sunday, February 28, 2016, from complications following surgery at Sanford Health, Bismarck, ND. Services were held March 2, 2016 at Parkway Funeral Service, with Elder Donavon Kack officiating. Burial was at the Seventh-Day Adventist Cemetery, Golden Valley, ND. She is survived by her mother, Lorene Schield, Bismarck; her sister, Terrie Schield (Greg) Adams, Morrow, OH; her brother, Laramie Schield, Bismarck; her sister, Laura Schield (Ron) Jyring, Bismarck; four nephews, Trevor and Ethan Adams, Benjamin and Joshua Jyring; one niece, Blaise Adams; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father, Ferd Schield, whom she loved dearly.

Summary: The North Dakota Heritage Family Memorial Program is sponsored by the North Dakota Funeral Directors Association. The life stories of deceased North Dakotans are featured in an archvied collection. Current partners in the project are Eastgate Funeral & Cremation Services, Bismarck Evans Funeral Homes, Carrington and New Rockford Everson-Coughlin Funeral Home, Williston Fulkerson Funeral Home, Tioga Fulkerson Funeral Home, Watford City Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home, Williston Nero Funeral Home, Bottineau Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck Springan Stevenson Funeral Home, Stanley Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson These funeral homes provide recent obituaries to the Foundation, where staff and volunteers format, edit and archive each memorial. The memorials are posted, and copies are sent to the family for their input and approval. The listing currently features more than 13,000 memorials, and is constantly updated as new memorials and histories are received.
