Summary: Pauline Bauer, 76, Bismarck, ND, died June 6, 1996, at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center, Bismarck. A funeral service was held June 10, 1996, at Century Baptist Church, Bismarck, with Rev. Willis Potratz officiating. Interment was at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck. Pauline was born December 10, 1919, on a farm near Washburn, ND. She was raised there and went to a country school. She married Dan Bauer April 7, 1959. They farmed near Regan, ND, and then Baldwin, ND, until they retired and moved to Bismarck in 1979. They went to Century Baptist Church in Bismarck. She was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother and loved her family dearly. Pauline had lived in the Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center for the past year, as she had Alzheimer’s. Pauline is survived by her husband, Dan; her daughter and son-in-law, Bette and Dean Pegors, Sterling, ND; two granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Tammy and Bruce Bender, Spokane, WA, and Tracy and Larry Wolf, Kintyre, ND; five grandsons and two granddaughters-in-law, Robin Sanderson, San Mateo, CA, Randall Pegors, Bismarck, Russell and Dawn Pegors, Mandan, ND, Ryan and Bonita Pegors, Lincoln, ND; nine great-grandchildren; her stepchildren, Ronald and Marlene Bauer, Melvin and Verlyn Bauer, Marian Ohlhauser, and Janet and Richard Knoll; 15 step-grandchildren; 24 step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Edna Steinwand and Freida Woodworth, one sister-in-law, Betty Wagner, all of Bismarck; and numerous nephews and nieces. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; one son; one sister; and one brother.and Marlene Bauer, Melvin and Verlyn Bauer, Marian Ohlhauser, and Janet and Richard Knoll; 15 step-grandchildren; 24 step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Edna Steinwand and Freida Woodworth, one sister-in-law, Betty Wagner, all of Bismarck; and numerous nephews and nieces.
