Robin Grant was born on October 3, 1949, to George Allan Grant and Margaret Evelyn Grant in Alameda, CA. She was raised on Bay Farm Island and graduated from Alameda High School. Shortly after high school Robin moved to Kentucky and married Denver Owen Dunbar. Robin and Denver had two daughters, Mary Margaret and Carol Lynn. She loved everything that included her children and grandchildren including hosting parties and holidays, vacationing, camping, fishing, shopping, and reading to them.To her family and friends, Robin was known for her love of sending cards. Everyone that she loved would receive cards for their birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays. If there was a reason to send a card, Robin would send one. In 2006, Robin started cross-stitching Christmas ornaments for her family. Over the last 19 years, she has sewn hundreds of ornaments. Each year her ornament list grew. She would start her ornaments in June and keep at them until Christmas. She loved finding new cross-stitch patterns that would be special to one of her recipients. Robin also loved to scrapbook, read, sew, write in her diary, and garden. She was a homebody who was happy and content to listen to the TV as she worked on her projects.
