Summary: Jeanette Thorgramson, 82, of Watford City, ND, passed away on July 3, 2025. Funeral services were held July 11, 2025, at First Lutheran Church in Watford City. Jeanette was born on May 4, 1943, to Kenneth and Ella Thomas in Williston, ND. She grew up on the family farm located just northeast of Watford City. She attended Rocky Glen School in McKenzie County where she received several certificates for perfect attendance. She later attended Watford City School. Jeanette married Wes Thorgramson on September 4, 1962, in Watford City. They raised two boys, Donald who was born in 1962 and Carl who came along later in 1970. Jeanette had many hobbies and loved to share her handiwork with everyone from family and friends to hospitals and churches. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed crocheting, making everything from blankets and animal pillows to headbands and Barbie clothes. She always made sure the family had blankets and quilts to share. Gardening and spending time at the lake were things she greatly enjoyed. Her biggest joy was the time she spent with her family, watching her boys Donald and Carl grow up, and when they were grown, watching her grandkids, and great-grandkids grow. She was always there to cheer them on during sports and other school activities. When she was unable to attend, she made sure to make time and ask how everything went. She was so proud of her family and made sure to tell them so every chance she got. She will be dearly missed, but she will live on through stories and memories she made with her family. Jeanette will be missed by son, Donald Thorgamson; daughter-in-law, Renee (Carl) Thorgramson; grandchildren, Jennifer (Michael) Kleen, Megan (Joshua) Hiatt, Shannan Thorgramson, Shakira (Miles) Davis, Wes (Kaela) Thorgramson, Tanaya Thorgramson, Garrett (Alexandra) Thorgramson; great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Chase, Emberly, Carl, Waylon, and Baby boy on the way; sisters, Francis Falkenhagen, Jackie (Kevin) Sullivan; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Jeanette will be greeted at the gates of heaven by her husband, Wesley Thorgramson; son, Carl Thorgramson; parents, Kenneth and Ella Thomas; sisters, Loretta Thompson, Joanie Siverston, and Teta Shannon.
