Laura Jacobson was born on January 25, 1961, in Dickinson, ND, to Marjorie and Vernon Jacobson. Laura and her family lived in Dickinson, and spent weekends and summers at the ranch in rural Amidon, ND. Growing up, Laura enjoyed riding the 3-wheeler and she loved helping her mom in the kitchen with all the baking and cooking. After graduating high school she got a music degree at Concordia and studied teaching, before moving to Colorado where she worked until moving back to Dickinson to help care for her aging parents. After her parents passed, Laura returned to Colorado, where she lived for the remainder of her life. Laura passed away peacefully after complications associated with rheumatoid arthritis. Laura will always be remembered as the kind and caring daughter, sister, aunt, and friend that she was. May her soul rest in peace. Laura is survived by her three brothers, Loren (Kris), Larry, and Alan (Stephanie); her nephews, Matthew, Levi, and Ryan (Lynelle); and her special friend, DawnMarie Schwappach. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vern and Marjorie; and nephews, Justin and Casey.
