Summary: Frank Hintz, 71, of Dickinson, ND, passed away October 17, 2025, at CHI St. Alexius, Dickinson. A funeral Mass was held October 28, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Fr. Justin Waltz celebrating. Burial was in St. Pius cemetery, Schefield, ND. Frank was born in Oshkosh, WI, on March 2, 1954, the son of Douglas and Lucille (Northski) Hintz. He grew up in Dickinson and graduated from Dickinson High School. Following graduation, Frank went to work for the oilfield, where he worked in various safety departments. The oilfield became his lifetime career. He loved this field of work and was known as a hard worker. Frank was blessed to open his own business, A of Services, in 2023. Frank met and married Andrea Obritsch in 1980 at St. Joseph’s Church in Dickinson. Their forever home was in Dickinson and it’s where they proudly raised their children. During Frank’s down time, he enjoyed calling bingo and playing the game. He also enjoyed bowling, golfing and gambling. Frank especially loved his eight grandchildren and his one great-grandchild. Frank is survived by his wife, Andrea; son, Andrew (Heather) Hintz of Dickinson; daughters, Cassie Zemke of Billings, MT, Dakotah of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Ashley, Bella, Carleigh, Alexis, Leah, Kaden, Devin, Camron; great-grandchild, Sage; and brother, Tom (Doris) Hintz. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Jessee and Poly Durrand.

Summary: The North Dakota Heritage Family Memorial Program is sponsored by the North Dakota Funeral Directors Association. The life stories of deceased North Dakotans are featured in an archvied collection. Current partners in the project are Eastgate Funeral & Cremation Services, Bismarck Evans Funeral Homes, Carrington and New Rockford Everson-Coughlin Funeral Home, Williston Fulkerson Funeral Home, Tioga Fulkerson Funeral Home, Watford City Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home, Williston Nero Funeral Home, Bottineau Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck Springan Stevenson Funeral Home, Stanley Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson These funeral homes provide recent obituaries to the Foundation, where staff and volunteers format, edit and archive each memorial. The memorials are posted, and copies are sent to the family for their input and approval. The listing currently features more than 13,000 memorials, and is constantly updated as new memorials and histories are received.
