Summary: It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Darrell Edward Huber, 75, of Glen Ullin, ND, a beloved father, skilled machinist, and a true friend to many. Darrell left us on October 27, 2025, but his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him. A military graveside service was held November 21, 2025, at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Mandan, ND. Darrell was born and raised in Almont and Glen Ullin, where he developed a lifelong passion for machinery and motors. His dedication to his craft truly shone during his service in the US Army, where he volunteered for the draft and served honorably from 1961 until 1971. After his time in the Army, Darrell returned to Glen Ullin and founded Prospeed Products in Hebron, ND, where he channeled his creativity and expertise into developing and machining parts for high-performance motors. His work extended beyond the garage, as he tailored many cars to exceed their performance on and off the track. Darrell was a family man at heart, and the pride of his life was his son, Benjamin "BJ" Huber, whom he cherished deeply. They shared many memories together, and Darrell instilled in BJ the same passion for craftsmanship and motors that defined his own life. In the early 2000s, Darrell semi-retired and returned to Glen Ullin, where he made a lasting home full of warmth and laughter. He was known for his kind spirit, infectious smile, and the stories he shared with family and friends.
