Summary: Wayne L. Berosik, 85, of Williston, North Dakota, formerly of Crosby, North Dakota, passed away Friday morning, August 20, 2021, at CHI St. Alexius Health Williston Medical Center. Wayne’s visitation was held on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM at the Everson Coughlin Funeral Home Chapel in Williston. Inurnment was Thursday, July 14, 2022, 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Cemetery. Wayne Leroy Berosik was born in Crosby to Sam and Rubenna Knutson Berosik, September 6, 1935. His parents lived on a farm and his father was a farmer. By the time Wayne was five, Janice was born and Vernon was born a year later. Terry came along seven years later and by the time Betty came along, Wayne was in a state home. Wayne was very good natured and respected other people's property. When Wayne was fifteen he was admitted to Grafton State School and later to San Haven in 1973. In 1987, he was moved to the Opportunity Foundation in Williston, where he resided until his passing. We are so grateful for everyone who took care of him, especially the Opportunity Foundation where he lived for so many years. Wayne is survived by sisters Betty Baker, Crosby, ND and Janice Herzog, Clifton, TX; sisters-in-law, Kathy Berosik and Sue Nygaard and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, Sam and Rubenna Berosik; brothers, Vernon and Terry Berosik; nephew Randy Herzog; brothers-in law, Ed Baker and Raymond Herzog.

Summary: The North Dakota Heritage Family Memorial Program is sponsored by the North Dakota Funeral Directors Association. The life stories of deceased North Dakotans are featured in an archvied collection. Current partners in the project are Eastgate Funeral & Cremation Services, Bismarck Evans Funeral Homes, Carrington and New Rockford Everson-Coughlin Funeral Home, Williston Fulkerson Funeral Home, Tioga Fulkerson Funeral Home, Watford City Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home, Williston Nero Funeral Home, Bottineau Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck Springan Stevenson Funeral Home, Stanley Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson These funeral homes provide recent obituaries to the Foundation, where staff and volunteers format, edit and archive each memorial. The memorials are posted, and copies are sent to the family for their input and approval. The listing currently features more than 13,000 memorials, and is constantly updated as new memorials and histories are received.
