Summary: Scott House, 55, passed away April 6, 2026, at his home in Carrington, ND, of natural causes. A funeral service was held April 10, 2026, at Evans Funeral Home, Carrington. Burial was at the Grace City Cemetery. Scott Allen House was born on September 30, 1970, in Fargo, ND, to Larry and Jean House. Scott attended Grace City Public School, graduating in 1989. Scott married Lisa Krause on February 2, 2001, and they made their home in Carrington. They started a family together, having three daughters, but they lost the second one due to being stillborn. Scott worked for Dakota Growers Pasta Company since 1994. He enjoyed working with his co-workers, who became family to him. Scott was also part of the Carrington Fire Department from 2006 until around 2019. Scott enjoyed working as well for the Korby Kost feed lot in rural Carrington. Scott over the years, watched his two loving daughters grow into such hard work ethic as he had. He was a very proud father to say the least. They were his world. He was good at making them laugh at his silly, quirky antics. Everyone knows Scott was a jokester. He enjoyed watching the girls show their dairy heifers, goats, and horses at the county fairs. Scott also enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, playing softball, and time spent over the years of his life at Juanita Lake with all his family and friends. He loved being outside playing with his dogs, Kody, Sadie, Tank, and Magic. He loved this so much. Scott liked watching the NFL and NASCAR. If anyone knew Scott, he loved AC/DC. Scott was found to be one of the hardest workers known to man. He was always going a hundred miles an hour. He was very dedicated to his jobs. His family and pets were his biggest accomplishments over the years, which he was very proud of. He never met anyone that he couldn’t put a smile on their face or couldn’t make laugh. He would literally make himself laugh. He is survived by his mom, Jean; his daughter, Mariah (Alex) of Bismarck, Marissa of Carrington; his aunt, Beverly Hong; uncles, Don House and Allan House; several cousins; his former wife, Lisa House; and his Godson, Dusty Lyman. Scott is preceded in death by his father, Larry House; his infant daughter, Brissa House; his grandparents, Thomas and Delores House; his uncle, Jim House; his faithful companions, Kody, Sadie, Tank, and Magic; and family friend, Brett Lyman.

Summary: The North Dakota Heritage Family Memorial Program is sponsored by the North Dakota Funeral Directors Association. The life stories of deceased North Dakotans are featured in an archvied collection. Current partners in the project are Eastgate Funeral & Cremation Services, Bismarck Evans Funeral Homes, Carrington and New Rockford Everson-Coughlin Funeral Home, Williston Fulkerson Funeral Home, Tioga Fulkerson Funeral Home, Watford City Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home, Williston Nero Funeral Home, Bottineau Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck Springan Stevenson Funeral Home, Stanley Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson These funeral homes provide recent obituaries to the Foundation, where staff and volunteers format, edit and archive each memorial. The memorials are posted, and copies are sent to the family for their input and approval. The listing currently features more than 13,000 memorials, and is constantly updated as new memorials and histories are received.
