Summary: Faith Isabel Eli, born November 14, 2003, in Anacortes, WA, passed away on May 11, 2026, in rural Kensal, ND, leaving behind a life remembered for her loving spirit, her gentle heart, and the joy she brought to everyone who knew her. A Mass of Christian burial was held May 19, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Carrington, ND. Burial was at the Glenfield Cemetery. Faith was homeschooled and carried herself with a quiet strength and a sincere curiosity about the world around her. Those who knew her were drawn to her warm presence and the way she made people feel welcome and valued. She had a heart of gold and an innocence about her that remained one of her most cherished qualities. Faith worked as a farm laborer at Kost Feedlot, where she truly found her dream job. She spoke often and with genuine joy about how much she loved her work. She was not afraid of hard work and had a remarkable ability to thrive in any environment thrown at her. Her dedication, resilience, and willingness to give her best in all things left a lasting impression on those who worked alongside her. She found happiness in the simple rhythms of farm life, especially knowing that her horse was right across the road whenever she needed to say a quick hello. Faith loved horseback riding and thrived on being with horses any chance she could. She also enjoyed driving and singing her heart away along the country roads, where her spirit seemed to shine brightest. She was a talented artist and a devoted book enthusiast, finding beauty in both creativity and quiet moments. Faith loved anyone who crossed paths with her, and she had a special love for her siblings, whom she spoke of often. Her smile and contagious laugh will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Faith was the beloved daughter of Adam and Teresa Eli of Oak Harbor, Washington. She will forever be loved and missed by her brothers, Caleb, Jakob, and Isaiah, and her sisters, Grace and Anne Marie, all of Oak Harbor, WA. She is also lovingly remembered by her fiancé, Levi Leichtman, McHenry, ND; her grandmothers, Sandra Eli of McHenry, and Rose Kerner of Grafton, ND; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Faith’s best friend was her horse, Lady, who held a special place in her heart. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Jerome Eli and James Kerner; her uncle, Robert Eli; and her cousin, Reed Nelson. Faith will be remembered as loving, friendly, and creative. She lived with sincerity, cared deeply for others, and brought light into the lives of her family and friends. Though her time on earth was far too brief, the love she gave and the memories she created will remain a lasting comfort to those who mourn her passing. Her family and all who loved her will carry her memory forward with gratitude for the gift of her life.

Summary: The North Dakota Heritage Family Memorial Program is sponsored by the North Dakota Funeral Directors Association. The life stories of deceased North Dakotans are featured in an archvied collection. Current partners in the project are Eastgate Funeral & Cremation Services, Bismarck Evans Funeral Homes, Carrington and New Rockford Everson-Coughlin Funeral Home, Williston Fulkerson Funeral Home, Tioga Fulkerson Funeral Home, Watford City Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home, Williston Nero Funeral Home, Bottineau Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck Springan Stevenson Funeral Home, Stanley Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson These funeral homes provide recent obituaries to the Foundation, where staff and volunteers format, edit and archive each memorial. The memorials are posted, and copies are sent to the family for their input and approval. The listing currently features more than 13,000 memorials, and is constantly updated as new memorials and histories are received.
