Summary: Sandra Kay Imhoff Martin, 72, of Hebron, ND, a beacon of warmth and kindness, passed away suddenly and peacefully at home on June 9, 2026. A funeral service was held June 16, 2026, at First Baptist Church, Hebron with Pastor David Ling officiating. Burial was at the First Baptist Cemetery, Hebron. Born to Reinhold and Emma (Kreis) Imhoff on March 7, 1954, in Sidney, MT, Sandi's life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and resillience. She grew up in Sidney, where she graduated from Sidney Public School in 1972. After graduation, she returned to North Dakota, lived in Richardton, and worked at Woolworths in Dickinson until her marriage. On November 23, 1974, Sandi married the love of her life, Bruce Martin, in Hebron. After marriage, they moved to the family farm 17 miles north of Hebron to help. After the births of their two older daughters, they moved to Dickinson. In mid-February 1977, they moved to Glasgow, MT, where they both attended the Family Training Center School. After the death of their daughter Sherri, they returned to Hebron, ND, where she laid the foundation for a life filled with compassion and service. Together, they shared 51 beautiful years of marriage, raising five wonderful daughters and building a home filled with love and joy. Sandi's family was the center of her universe, and her greatest joy was found in the company of her loved ones. Her children, Jessica (Randy) Duppong of Glen Ullin, ND, Juanita (Jeff Volk, fiancé) Martin of Bismarck, ND, Coty (Anthony Ritch, fiancé) Nelson of New Mexico, Shaunda (Allen) Nadvornik of Dickinson, ND, and Crystal (Brandon) Bellerud of Bismarck, were her pride and joy. Her legacy extends to her 16 grandchildren: Tayler (Austin) Cariveau, Chelsey (Chase) Remboldt, Layne (Madison Rivinius, fiancé), Duppong, Madisyn Duppong, Tionna Harrington, LaShana Nadvornik, Raven Schiley, Sheldon and Leland Nelson, DaeLynn, Christa, Landon, and Jada Nadvornik, Jazzy, Zayden and Kyon Bellerud; four great-grandchildren, Breyah Duppong, Bryan Nadvornik, Oliver and Oaklee Nadvornik, and baby Remboldt coming in August. They will forever cherish the memories they created with their beloved grandmother. She was a woman of many talents, holding various jobs throughout her life. Whether she was serving tables as a waitress, cooking up comfort food, or tending bar, Sandi's diligence and cheerful demeanor made her a cherished presence. Her career path led her to Baker Boy in Richardton, and from 1996 to 2013, she served as a certified nursing assistant at the Marian Manor HealthCare Center, where her gentle nature and golden heart touched countless lives. Until her cancer diagnosis, Sandi worked as a grocery clerk at the Super Valu Store in Glen Ullin, where her warm smile and laughter made shopping a little brighter for everyone. Sandi cherished every moment spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life - crossword puzzles, reading, and cross-stitching. Her love for dancing, particularly to 'BYE, BYE', BYE by NSYNC, was infectious, as she proudly showcased her moves to her daughters. Sandi's kindness, gentle nature, and unwavering spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her laughter, like a comforting melody, will echo in the hearts of those who knew her. Her life was a testament to the power of love and kindness, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Sandi is survived by her devoted husband Bruce, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as a loving extended family that includes countless friends who became family over the years. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Ray and Vernon, sister Joann, infant brother Delbert, and infant daughters Sherri and Jasmine.

Summary: The North Dakota Heritage Family Memorial Program is sponsored by the North Dakota Funeral Directors Association. The life stories of deceased North Dakotans are featured in an archvied collection. Current partners in the project are Eastgate Funeral & Cremation Services, Bismarck Evans Funeral Homes, Carrington and New Rockford Everson-Coughlin Funeral Home, Williston Fulkerson Funeral Home, Tioga Fulkerson Funeral Home, Watford City Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home, Williston Nero Funeral Home, Bottineau Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck Springan Stevenson Funeral Home, Stanley Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson These funeral homes provide recent obituaries to the Foundation, where staff and volunteers format, edit and archive each memorial. The memorials are posted, and copies are sent to the family for their input and approval. The listing currently features more than 13,000 memorials, and is constantly updated as new memorials and histories are received.
