Summary: Collection consists of correspondence to Ferdinand (F. W. or Fred) and Rosa Busch, Berlin (N.D.); correspondence to Arthur Busch during his service in World War II; photocopies of correspondence between George W. Busch and Jean (Tannahill) Busch; manuscripts which describe the childhoods of Henry L. and Esther Bernard in Grafton, Oakwood, Grand Forks, Valley City, and Berlin (N.D.); reminiscences about Christmas celebrations in North Dakota; World War II records documenting George W. Busch's service, including copies of records of the USS Woodworth; biographical and genealogical information; material created by Dick Bernard for the 1993 Busch-Berning family reunion; photographs; and miscellaneous records of Henry Bernard, Richard (Dick) Bernard, August Berning, George Berning, Helinina Berning, John Berning, Arthur Busch, Edith Busch, George W. Busch, Lucina Busch, Luetta (Busch) Weigel, Rufine Busch and Verena H. Busch.
