Title: Monson Family Papers
Date: 1916-1919
Summary: Photograph collection includes images of families, agricultural activities and implements, children at play, animals, farmstead buildings, home interiors (furniture, textiles), community activities, recreational activities, churches, towns, schools, construction on farmstead buildings, and men leaving for Camp Dodge, IA (1917). Most of the images were taken in Walsh County (N.D.) in the 1910s, although the collection includes images in Gladmar, Saskatchewan, Canada. The photographs were in processing envelopes with the names of the three Monson daughters on them, Anna, Laura, and Selma. Collection Note: Unless otherwise noted, the photographs were probably taken in Walsh County (N.D.) in the 1910s.
