Title: Turtle Mountain KEM Shriners Ted Fagerlund and Alfred Ostrom with circus calliope vehicle

Summary: The man on the left is Ted Fagerlund from Rugby ND and the man on the right is Alfred Ostrom from rural York (Hurricane Lake Township, Pierce County). They were both members of the Turtle Mountain Kem Shriners organization. They are standing in front of their "circus calliope" vehicle. Ted drove the vehicle while Alfred played the calliope.

Summary: The historical photograph collection was maintained by Frank Hornstein, editor and publisher of the Pierce County Tribune (1940-1981) and includes photographs submitted to the Tribune and published in daily and retrospective editions.
