Title: 50 Years in the Saddle meeting

Summary: 50 Years in the Saddle was organized in 1957 at the Fred LaRoque ranch near New Town with 22 charter members. The second annual meeting was held in 1958 at Agnus Kennedy's Skunk Creek camp on the Fort Berthold Reservation. Pictured at that meeting are, front row, left to right: Guy Randall, Charles Dodge, Bryant Kellogg, Thomas Lawlar, Fritz Berger, Earl Henderson, Anders Madson, Angus Kennedy Sr., Polly Gruetzner, Fred LaRoque, Pete Johnston, Harry Langdon, Lupean Fancy, Charles Kerr. Title: 50 Years in the Saddle Club Collection

Summary: Research and organizational files of the 50 Years in the Saddle Club (Watford City, N.D.) and images collected by Manfred Signalness to be used in Volumes 3 and 4 of the 50 Years in the Saddle: Looking Back Down the Trail. The collection documents biographies and stories of ranchers and other residents of western North Dakota. The organization published the Series: 50 Years in the Saddle: Looking Back Down the Trail.
