Summary: William Lemuel Taylor 1874-1961. William Lemuel Taylor was born in Rolla, Missouri, in 1874 and raised in Kansas. Bill was in the Oklahoma Land Rush as a youth, then went to Texas. He came to Dickinson, North Dakota in 1896. He came into the area with the Converse Cattle Company trail Herd, and worked on various ranches. He established his own "T Cross Ranch" near Wetsone before building the Taylor Hotel in Dunn Center, North Dakota. he was a cousin of President Zachery Taylor. See Volumes 2 and 3.

Title: 50 Years in the Saddle Club Collection

Summary: Research and organizational files of the 50 Years in the Saddle Club (Watford City, N.D.) and images collected by Manfred Signalness to be used in Volumes 3 and 4 of the 50 Years in the Saddle: Looking Back Down the Trail. The collection documents biographies and stories of ranchers and other residents of western North Dakota. The organization published the Series: 50 Years in the Saddle: Looking Back Down the Trail.
