Summary: Seated in a chair for this studio portrait, Chief Two Bears rests his arms on the chair and looks right at the camera. This image was taken by Dakota Territory photographer D. F. Barry around 1880. Two Bears, a Dakota, wears a dark cloth vest buttoned over a long light shirt and dark trousers. A neckerchief is around his neck, and his hair bound at the sides with fur strips.
