Title: Sitting Bull's daughters and wives in front of the cabin where he was killed

Inscription/Marks: On the back: Sitting Bull's home and family. Sitting Bull killed outside the door of this house.
Summary: One of Sitting Bull's daughters, possibly “Lizzie" Lodge-in-Sight, leans against the frame of the open door of the low, shaped-log cabin that is the home of Sitting Bull. His wives, Seen-by-Her-Nation Woman (Ta Oyate Wanyakapi Win) and Four Blanket Woman (Four Robes) (Tasinatopawin), sit on a long log bench with daughter Standing Holy. Each woman wears a long dress and is wrapped in a shawl. The rough log house is a simple rectangle with two pens. a door is on the long side, and a 6-over-6 light double hung window is in the gable end. Around the yard in front of the women is evidence of domestic activity. Taken by frontier photographer D. F. Barry in 1890 on Standing Rock Indian Reservation. __Previous description was: Dakota Chief Sitting Bull's two wives and two daughters standing outside log cabin next to open doorway --all women wear shawls, skirts and moccasins. From left to right: Lodge In Sight, Her Four Robes, Seen By Her Nation, and Standing Holy. Her Four Robes and Seen By Her Nation were wives of Sitting Bull.
