Inscription/Marks: On the back of the photograph folder is glued the printed biographical information, written by the photographer, which accompanied this picture when it was sold.
Summary: In this portrait, Brave Bear wears traditional regalia. A straight-sided fur hat is decorated with ribbons and several feathers. Brave Bear's hair is wrapped in strips of fur, and his leather shirt is covered in quill and bead work, with feathers at the shoulders. Brave Bear is the brother of Bob Brave Bear.
