Inscription/Marks: On the front is stamped: Rural PTA Picnic On the back: 28-6.
Summary: A large group of men, women and children are gathered for a group shot around the flagploe outside a one-room school. Nicely dressed in hats and dresses, or caps and jackets, some of the people are at the open door of the schoolhouse, others arranged across the surrounding space. Cars are parked behind the school. The band members are in the group, holding their instruments. The school is a single story wood-framed and sided building with six visible windows and an entry door. The roof is hipped.
