Summary: Group portrait of family with older woman, back row, an older man next to her, and two younger men in overalls and hats. A border collie dog sits between the two younger men. They are behind a boy in overalls, work shirt and soft hat, by another border collie In this front row, is also a man in work shirt and work pants with suspenders and kerchief tied around his neck, a young boy in sailor shirt and pants, and another young boy in overalls and work shirt. Behind the woman is the gable end of a small wood-frame, wood-sided shack with a simple double hung 2-over-2 light window. Taken in the Pretty Rock area of North Dakota, on the P. E. Knight homestead, by the Lawfer Studio of Leith.

Summary: Images of agriculture, the Nonpartisan League, and buildings. Many of the images were used in the Nonpartisan Leader. Photographs were taken in Bismarck, Brantford, Buffalo Spring, Esmond, Fargo, Hekton, McKenzie, Pretty Rock, Williston and Wyndmere (N.D.).
