Summary: Used in a newspaper article, the Gilbert photograph shows a man holding child, a woman in a dress and apron, holding feed bucket, in front of a small barn. Chickens by the dozen are feeding on the ground in front of them. In the background, beyond the barn is a thresher. Two barrels for collecting rain water are beside one side of the barn, and beyond them is an horse drawn piece of equipment. The background has been retouched to eliminate some of the distractions. Summary: Images of agriculture, the Nonpartisan League, and buildings. Many of the images were used in the Nonpartisan Leader. Photographs were taken in Bismarck, Brantford, Buffalo Spring, Esmond, Fargo, Hekton, McKenzie, Pretty Rock, Williston and Wyndmere (N.D.).
