Summary: The Gardner Consolidated School, near Fargo (N.D.), is the subject of this 1914 photograph. It is a three story brick building with a three-story brick projection which contains the entry. Brick and stone columns frame the entry doors. Stone steps lead to the double doors which allow access to the interior. Tall double-hung windows are on both visible sides of the building. The roof is a hipped roof, and there appears to be a water tank at the back of the roof. Piles of brick and backfill dirt are still visible on lower photo right side. No other buildings or structures are visible in the background.
