Title: Newspaper page featuring the interior of the "Former Governors Mansion", Bismarck (N.D.)

Inscription/Marks: This is clipping from a newspaper on which is readable: "Events Page", "Magnificent interior-Thiis is a spacious corner of the livingroom in North Dakota'a executive mansion. The woodwork, particularily, is a fine example of nineteenth century decoration...." On the back: 0071-68.
Summary: The item is a photograph showing the interior of the living room at the Old Governor's Mansion, Bismarck (N.D.), printed to accompany a newspaper story about "White Houses of the Empire". The large bay windows on the east side of the house let in light to illuminate the piano area and the sitting areas visible in this photograph. It is not notes in which paper this article appeared, but it is dated 1956, during the last term of Governor Brunsdale.
