Summary: A photograph accompanying a January 7, 1957 Bismarck Tribune story on the change-over of gubernatorial administrations in Bismarck (N.D.), showing two different parts of the home. In one photograph the subject is a couch along the south wall of the living room in the Old Governor's Mansion as it appeared at the end of the Brunsdale occupancy in 1957. These photos are part of a clipping, so some text is visible at the side, and a caption portion reads "New Additions-this flecked settee, end tables.." The second photograph shows the fireplace and the clock on the mantle. The caption reads "Time Keeper-Mrs. Brunsdale also had this...".
